About the Workshop

This is an workshop course lasting about 1 to 2 hours, limited to one group per day (up to 5 people).

Flow of the Workshop

01We will explain the Japanese sword production process while you watch a video.

02We will provide commentary while you view a Japanese sword.

03You can actually hold a Japanese sword and take commemorative photos with your group.

04You will observe the swordsmith at work in the forge.

05You will participate in hands-on workshops, such as sente (assisting the swordsmith with secondary hammering).

06You will tour the forge.

07Finally, you can take commemorative photos.
